What we've done: October 8th, 2010

- Craig D. Lindsey on It's Kind of a Funny Story: No, it isn't. On Secretariat: Glue factory material.

- Simon Abrams said a quick word about the IFC Center's Latin-American retrospective and had nothing but bile for Secretariat yet was surprisingly generous towards My Soul to Take.

- Craig Kennedy promoted the ID Film Festival. Also, it musta been Trailer Day at LiC: The Way Back, Four Lions and Blue Valentine. (And, as always, Weekend Forecast.)

- James Frazier really liked The Social Network.

- Jim Emerson snarled at stupidity and algorithms.

- Scott W. Black wasn't down with Original Gangstas.

Today's video: There was a bit of back-and-forth on Twitter today about an old, weird short film called The Haunted Mouth, an admonishment of tooth care framed as a horror movie. I've seen it before (it's on Other Cinema's Experiments in Terror disc), and it's as amazing as it sounds. Do you doubt me? You shouldn't:
