What we've done: November 12th, 2010

- Dennis Cozzalio used several recent theatrical screenings to mull over the cinematic audience experience circa now. Any article that ping-pong from Obayashi's House to Werner Herzog to Film Socialisme has my undivided attention.

- Craig Lindsey joined the host of critics surprised by the non-crappiness of Unstoppable.

- Add Animal Kingdom to the list of films Simon Abrams thinks y'all are nuts for liking.

- Daniel Getahun dug Waste Land.

- Craig Kennedy's Weekend Forecast seemed... unexcited. (Can you blame him?)

Today's video: So Skyline, unsurprisingly, is getting embarrassing reviews. What to do if you're jonesing for an alien-invasion flick? Guess you'll have to wait until March for the release of Battle: Los Angeles, which looks promising. (Though the director also has Darkness Falls and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning to his name, so maybe you'll want to temper that enthusiasm a bit.)
